Inspiration - Epoxy River Chair

This chair was designed by an Industrial Design student at San Jose State University and was submitted as a competition project for the Children's Discovery Museum in San Jose. This student purchased a black walnut slab from our shop and wanted to say thank you for being a great local company and for providing help to a fellow "Red Bluff-ian." The mid section has 1/16" kerf on both sides to allow for the bend of the lumbar support, the legs are fastened with four double-action hinges to allow the part to act as a chair or as a beautiful decoration when not in use.
